30 Day Challenge. Day 5!

So, in today’s morning meditation note I wanted to share with you a story. I was walking my dog in the park last night as I stumbled upon a book. Actually it was a personal diary that looked like a book. I always look at what books people forget in the park. Sometimes there would even be books for people to take, so my curiosity wasn’t unusual. So, you can imagine my surprise when I opened it up and realized there were hand written notes inside. Small, carefully penciled notes. I immediately knew it was a woman.

I couldn’t help but wonder why I found it and today of all days. I really didn’t want to go out with my dog tonight, because of the amount of work I had to do in the evening, so I left it until the last minute. And instead of doing a quick run to the corner, I decided to go to the park and take a 40 minute walk. I thought maybe I would write some notes on the next article, but nothing came to mind as I was walking, so I forgot about the notes. Then I found this notebook.

I went through a few pages and after reading just a couple of sentences I found myself completely intrigued by this person’s style of sharing her thoughts through a ballpoint pen. It was intimate yet not revealing. Some paragraphs were just motivation notes. There were drawings that looked like outlines of female legs rounded up in a circle. There were step by step instructions for some computer program and some guys phone number, on the very last page. By the time I realized I was walking with it, I was already 20 feet ahead. There was no question in my head about not taking it. I was protecting it from falling into the wrong hands. Same way I wouldn’t’ leave behind someone’s wallet. I had the urge to return it. As many miracles as I’ve been blessed with in the past few months, I don’t see these things as accidents anymore, I see them as pieces of a puzzle. So as I was walking, I decided that I’m going to take the notebook and see if I can find hints on it’s pages, that will lead me to the owner.

I don’t know what to make of it and it’s probably not going to lead to any miraculous reunion with someone I lost in the past life, but it got me thinking about intuition and how we go through our lives not listening to it. I picked this notebook up because I was just following my intuition and when I caught myself I already completed the action. It happened because of my habit of listening to my inner voice. So, since this story got me thinking, I decided to share with you my thoughts on intuition.

Basically, from the day we are born, we’re repeatedly told to listen to the logic and learn from others’ experiences, but in most parts of the word, we are never taught to tap into ourselves. As a result we lose touch with our inner world and before we know it, we are unhappy and don’t even know why.

I can’t stress the importance of listening to your intuition enough. See, nothing bad ever happens from intuition. People will tell you about miraculously avoiding accidents and winning a lottery based on something that pooped into their head, but no one ever thinks about where that feeling came from. We attribute intuition to inexplicable, when in fact that’s your souls’ voice talking. Intuition is that rare moment when that voice gets through the white noise we create every day, from the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep. And then we often also drag it through the night with us. By doing meditation every day, you learn to clear up the white noise for prolonged periods of time. Imagine if there was no white noise and you were alone with yourself! Just you and that place where the miracle we call intuition comes from. I can’t tell you how many times I have come back from meditation with the most amazing answers to my business situations and solutions for other problems. Most of the time, the answers are so simple you are amazed how you couldn’t see it in front of you all this time. Then you learn how to direct that sensitivity to your own voice into particular goals in life and start to see good things happening. You become quite addicted to this and that’s why people can easily go into hours of meditation with time. The deeper you go, the more you understand.

Now you know why I decided to start this project publicly. I want to teach you to go inn and change your own world and the world around you. I want to teach you to see yourself and to fall in love with your soul. Because when you love your soul, you see the world around you in a different light, you start to see how deeply everything is connected. And that’s when miracles start to happen for real! So, if you haven’t joined us yet- welcome to my 30 Day Meditation Program! Watch or participate, but I want you to share as we go.

Oh, as for today outfit, it’s all about mixing the unmixable. I wanted to push my inner tomboy and make her a bit more girly. So this is how the sweatshirt and sports shoes married the pencil skirt. And my hair, as you can tell, is loving this weather!
